Chad Stoker has been a leader in the IT community of Olympia for over 8 years and has over 12 years of experience overall. Chad was a keynote speaker and presenter at events such as Seattle Code Camp, Portland Code Camp, and is regularly involved with the South Sound Dot Net User’s Group. Recently, Chad has established CodeSmart as a recognized Microsoft Certified Partner in helping clients to navigate Service Oriented Architecture proposals and Business Process decisions. Chad has also been a speaker at the Interagency Project Manager’s Association (IPMA) event for the last 5 years addressing topics such as “Improving your dev team’s efficiency” to “Implementing Enterprise Service Bus Architectures” and more.
Chad is known for his ability to accurately assess and analyze business processes for his customers so that projects may carry less risk and a greater chance of success. Chad focuses on Business Alignment during the project development lifecycle so that project initiatives align with business strategy. Chad is also a Team player and focuses much of his energies on mentoring others regarding technical concepts, approaches, tools, and methodologies that are common in the Software Development Lifecycle.
As an Architect/Project Manager, Chad has experienced a broad range of job duties which have enabled him to become a more flexible and communicative Manager. As an owner of CodeSmart, Chad also brings the ability to effectively manage other developers on multiple projects simultaneously and hire extra help when projects require it.
Hans Stoker has a rich history in the Information Technology space. His 30 year career spans from expert software development to corporate management, culminating in the highly successful sale of a company he founded. He has presented at international conferences. His current position as a Principal of CodeSmart includes roles in Operations and Finance as well as project management, application design, software performance testing and legacy skills. Understanding both legacy systems and new technologies, he effectively communicates between developers with diverse technologies and skill sets. Hans realizes that systems exist to solve business problems and constantly strives to provide solutions with real value and ROI. His years of experience has given him a perspective that the human element is the most important part of a successful solution.
Mark Meyer is an executive with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He brings organizational, marketing, operations and sales acumen to the CodeSmart team. Mark has served with CIBER, Sprint E|Solutions, Logicalis and SolutionsIQ, very often leading the team bringing IT solutions to their customers.
Always focused on delivering quality solutions to the client, Mark is looked to as a leader in the industry. He is keen to understand customer needs to build their business and can assemble the team to deliver.
He has been involved with the IT community in Washington since 1987 and with the Olympia area IT community since 2002.
